General opening times. Monday - Friday: 9.30am - 3.30pm (last entry) Saturday: 9.00am - 3.00pm (last entry) Sunday: Open for services.

Monday, 11th November 2024. Westminster Abbey General Admittance. 9.30am - 3.30pm. This includes the Cloisters, College Garden, Chapter House and the Pyx Chamber. Westminster Abbey Group Entry. 9.30am - 3.00pm. Group entry is not permitted between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries. 10.00am - 3.00pm.

The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066, and is the final resting place of 17 monarchs. The church we see today was begun by Henry III in 1245.
