Question - LG OLED Red Color Issue - AVForums
Nov 12, 2019 · I have had my 55” LG OLED for the past 2 years and have loved it. Recently, however, I have noticed that red images are darker in the center of the screen than around the edges. The picture attached shows just how dramatic the problem is. Does anyone have idea what’s going on here?

Skin colors have a lot of red in them and often the face is placed in the middle, same with bright logos. On a 2019 OLED or newer the red wear would look more similar to the green or blue color on your tv, so slight subtitle burn, slight unevenness but really nothing to be bothered about.

Jan 17, 2022 · Weird as my first C1 turned all oranges into reds. Sound like a damaged panel. Have you tried to reset the TV? Most likely there is something broken anyway. Good that you returned it. Normaly even if you would screw up all the settings and use vivid colors still look normal and you could definitely tell the difference between red and orange.

Nov 26, 2019 · my LG OLED (C7V) displays (some) reds way to bright, fluorescent. depending on the light, some reds go from normal/darker red to very bright fluorescent red. Have tried several options, use these settings (based on settings from rtings.com)
