IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
The IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria are intended to be an easily and widely understood system for classifying species at high risk of global extinction. It divides species into nine categories: Not Evaluated, Data Deficient, Least Concern, Near Threatened, Vulnerable, Endangered, Critically Endangered, Extinct in the Wild and Extinct.
There are two general rules for how to use Commission logos with the IUCN logo: (1) for IUCN Commission branded material which shows representation of a Commission, and (2) for non-IUCN Commission branded material which shows association with an IUCN Commission.
IUCN National and Regional Committees are authorized to use the IUCN name and logo in certain specified ways, and are encouraged to show their association with IUCN, proactively helping to raise the visibility of the Union.
