I would HIGHLY recommend playing Horizon Zero Dawn first. In my opinion, Zero Dawn is a better game overall. Graphically speaking, Forbidden West is better and I like the motion capture and better face models on characters but, I think Zero Dawn is superior in almost every possible way to the second game.

Hi, I have recently started playing Horizon zero dawn because I want to play the second game too. I have already played about more than 2 or 3 hours of the game and I got very bored. Can someone explain the Stealth mechanics to me? : r/horizon
First off, all enemies have a visual detection range. If you are visible to them, inside this range they will rapidly alert and become aware of you, the icon above them goes from grey to yellow to red.

Feb 9, 2023 · The "best build" is situational. If you need to sneak, use an infiltrator setup, etc. Before you engage in combat, expect what elements you want to be resistant to and which you want to be able to apply.
Fast Reload or Triple Shot, which should I get first? : r/horizon
If you play with stealth grass and that stuff, and you use high-maneuvering, triple shot. Triple shot is unpractical until you have insanely high maneuverty (you charge the 2 extra arrows instantly , it’s free extra damage).

Aug 9, 2020 · Go to "Horizon Zero Dawn/LocalCacheDX12" and delete "PSOCache.bin". Then start the game and let it rebuild the shader cache, after than go into settings, go from fullscreen to borderless and then from that back to fullscreen. Enjoy. I had the same problem.

Sharpshot Bow. this thing is your sniping bread and butter against small machines and humans, and once you upgrade to the second tier and get the Tearblast arrows... it's amazing as an opening against bigger bots to get rid of their main weaponry. Or the dreaded Stalkers... Blast sling.
