Jan 25, 2024 · Tŷ Hafan was the brainchild of Suzanne Goodall from Beddau. In 1988 the newly retired occupational therapist made it her mission to establish Wales’ first children’s hospice. Eleven years of intensive fundraising and campaigning later, Tŷ Hafan opened its doors.

At Tŷ Hafan, we are experts at caring for children with complex and rare conditions and supporting their whole families. We are completely focused on helping you have happy times with your child, creating memories to cherish forever and simply making life better for everyone.

At Tŷ Hafan, there are many ways you can support our life-changing services as a volunteer. From working in one of our shops, to helping out in our crafty workshop, to helping out at Ty Hafan events or directly supporting our families, find out how you can volunteer today.
