Apr 5, 2021 · I noticed the CMOS RAM chip at UJ11 (Sharp LH5268A-10LL) has some of its pins oxidized. Pins 10 and 11 are slightly oxidized, and the pins 15 and 16 are heavily oxidized (tried co capture it on a picture but it doesn't show how it really is).

May 25, 2023 · UF5 is a custom socketed chip and that socket after a while gets brittle and may not be making great contact with the chip. I had the same issue and fixed it by re-seating UF5. Squeeze the sides of the socket and see if anything changes before attempting to pull.

Jul 2, 2017 · You can cut uj11 out and the game will still run (it's the cmos chip). this is always my first shot. As you correctly identified the ram at UJ4-7 are possible. UG13, UH13, UJ13, UB18 & UB19 are common to go and cause corrupted cpu data lines.
