It appears your instructions were to set the home page to the same as the new tab page rather than the other way around. Or, maybe I am missing something.

Somehow my home page got changed to a default one. I followed the instruction to reset it back to what I want . 3 : dots, settings, appearance, type in home page I want & click save, but when I open edge again it still goes to the default page. I have to hit the home button to got to my page. This just started happening a few days ago.
