With 17:07 remaining in the second half of Texas' showdown against in-state rival Texas A&M, the Longhorns faced a 22-point deficit, Texas roared back behind 24 points after intermission from star freshman Tre Johnson to escape with a 70-69 win.

Mark, the taller man by 5 inches, took Taylor right to the rim, where he kissed the decisive basket off the glass and in to give the Longhorns a memorable 70-69 win.

Earlier in the game, Texas trailed 51-29 after Texas A&M star guard Wade Taylor IV buried a three-point basket with 17:07 to play in the second half. Johnson and the Longhorns went on to score 41 points in the remaining minutes of the game.
