The third T20I match between India and South Africa at Centurion faced an unexpected delay due to a swarm of flying ants on the field. The umpires, after discussions with both teams, decided to suspend play as the insects were present in large numbers.

Play was halted just one over after South Africa commenced their chase of the challenging 220-run target set by India in the third T20 at Centurion’s SuperSport Park.

India are currently enjoying a 2-1 lead in the four-match series and will now look to carry forward the winning momentum at the Wanderers, Johannesburg.
