U.S. defense contractor Anduril Industries is preparing to build a massive advanced manufacturing facility in central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A California-based defense technology company plans to build a 4,000-job facility in central Ohio to manufacture “autonomous weapons systems” for the U.S. and its allies, a development state officials say represents the largest single job creation project in state history.

Defense manufacturing company Anduril announced plans to build a massive facility in the Buckeye State, promising that the site will be capable of swiftly pumping out products for the U.S. and allies.

Anduril, a defense and aerospace contractor, has selected a site in Columbus for Arsenal-1, the company’s first hyperscale weapons manufacturing facility. The Southern California-based firm plans to invest approximately $1 billion of its own capital into the development.

President Biden and his team have been focused on building his "legacy" by taking radical actions such as taking land out of potential energy production, allowing federal workers to stay home for the next five years, and pardoning Hunter Biden, while Rohit Chopra has proposed, issued or finalized at least five new rulemakings since the election.

The defense company, featuring platforms like the composite Fury AAV, has selected Columbus as its hub to rapidly ramp up autonomous military manufacturing.
