The Wild and the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, which founded Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Hinckley, agreed to a 14-year naming-rights contract.

Kurt Wescott is a die-hard Minnesota Wild fan and season ticket holder. He's also a neighbor of the team as he manages Wescott Station, his family's antique store, one block west of Xcel Energy Center. "My initial reaction is, how am I going to stop calling it the X?" Wescott said.

The Minnesota Wild will play the upcoming season at Grand Casino Arena, after a naming rights deal with the tribal gaming and hospitality company that succeeds the venue's original name, Xcel Energy Center.
