Dart has a connection with Manning and his family, who've been supporting him since he transferred to Ole Miss before the 2022 season.

Giants legend Eli Manning, who also played for Ole Miss, has already admitted he likes Dart to The New York Post last week. “I’ve been around him and [he’s] been a great kid, been in the same offense for three years and been successful,” Manning said. “Seen him grow and progress and seems to be able to make all the throws.’’

The Giants have been searching for a long-term answer at quarterback since even before Manning retired following the 2019 season.
