Cold weather shelters open Friday and Saturday nights
If you need a warm place to go, three shelters are open in Tallahassee Friday and Saturday night. Be sure to show up between 4-8 p.m.

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - As temperatures continue to plummet, Sarasota County is opening up cold weather shelters. If you go to a shelter, please note you will need to bring your own sleeping materials. Cold weather shelters will be offered this evening, Jan. 24, at the locations below:
Cold weather shelters will open Wednesday night in DeLand
A DeLand shelter will open its doors tonight, Jan. 22, to people seeking refuge from the cold weather. People can go to The Bridge at 421 S. Palmetto Ave. starting at 6:30 p.m. Breakfast will be served before the shelter closes at 8 a.m. Thursday.
