West Virginia celebrated the life of NBA great Jerry West, the school’s all-time leading scorer, at its sellout game against No. 2 Iowa State.

Here in just a few minutes, the West Virginia Mountaineers will square off with the No. 2 team in the country, the Iowa State Cyclones. "I’m expecting this place to rocking," WVU head coach Darian DeVries said in his preview press conference of tonight's game.

Pretty much everyone who has bounced a basketball is familiar with Jerry West. “Obviously, he’s the [inspiration for the] NBA logo and a huge icon to the basketball community,” WVU senior guard Joseph Yesufu said.
