ABC's The Rookie Season 7 was getting interesting with every episode, as it was deepening the storyline of Bailey's ex-husband Jason, who escaped prison in Season 6's finale.

The season 7 finale of “The Rookie” is set to air on Tuesday, May 13. While the full episode schedule has yet to be released, there are 14 episodes left in season 7 of “The Rookie,” based on TVLine ‘s reporting that the season consists of 18 total episodes.

The Rookie Season 7 Episode 5 finally made progress on Jason, Bailey's ex-husband's storyline, which was teased in the Season 6 finale.

The Rookie' is airing the 5th episode of its 7th season on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 10 p.m. There are several ways to watch with a free live stream.

The Rookie has been getting intense in their crime-fighting week after week, building up to something out of the officers' control. In The Rookie season 7, episode 5, titled "Til Death," the situation might accelerate to that point as fear is the defining element.
