LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The City of Las Vegas says it received complaints recently that the Vegas Vic sign is off. The iconic sign has been a staple of Fremont Street since it went up in 1951.

This week, the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign is celebrating its 65th anniversary. Back in in May 1959, Clark County approved construction of the sign and on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd.
