The second richest Jeff Bezos still holds a significant % in Amazon holdings. This is the ownership percentage of around 10.8% according to the statement made in February 2024. Bezos resigned in 2021 as chief executive but still holds the position of chairman.

Musk, who rejects unions as creating “a lords-and-peasants sort of thing”, had already joined a legal claim, alongside Amazon founder and fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos, arguing the NLRB is “unconstitutional” and should be scrapped.

The Amazon founder has sold nearly $3 billion in stock so far this month. He still holds $220 billion worth of Amazon shares.
