Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard headline the group of 17 finalists for this year's Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class announced Friday.

The Nuggets drafted Carmelo Anthony with the third overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. He finished second in Rookie of the Year voting and went on to represent the Nuggets in four All-Star Games.
