The way things look, it is shaping up that the Colts will have their top choice when it comes to filling the defensive coordinator role.

The Indianapolis Colts are hoping for some bigger success on the defensive side of the ball, but some things will remain the same in terms of the personnel. While new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo already made his first hire by bringing in James Bettcher as the linebackers coach,

Dennis Allen was most recently the head coach in New Orleans after rebuilding that team's defense over several years.

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Falcons are hiring Jeff Ulbrich to be their next defensive coordinator. Ulbrich was previously the defensive coordinator for the New York Jets and took over as the interim head coach this season after Robert Saleh was fired.
