For the first time since 2020, the City of Crown Point, Geisen Funeral Home and Geisen-Pruzin Funeral and Cremation Services sponsored a public Twelfth Night Christmas tree bonfire.

Westminster will host their second annual Christmas tree bonfire party at the VFW Post 7389 field on Saturday, Jan. 11. About 100 residents turned out for last year's event.

The celebration will open at 6 p.m. on January 18, and the bonfire lights up at 6:30 p.m. Once the fire is roaring, organizers will light up the skies with a fireworks show.
