The Reds are engaged in talks for free agent closer Carlos Estévez according to Bob Nightengale. Estévez, 32, is one of the best free agent relievers available. He posted a 3.90 ERA with 31 saves and a plus 27.

The Cincinnati Reds agreed to a new TV deal with FanDuel Sports Network that will make Reds games slightly easier to watch but also add a few more dollars to the budget.

The Reds signed Young to a minor-league contract Monday that includes an invitation to spring training, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

The newly struck deal between the Cincinnati Reds and FanDuel Sports Network replaces the Reds deal for '25 with MLB TV and includes streaming rights.
