MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Brewers scored six runs in the 3rd inning en route to an 8-3 win over the Nationals on Friday. William Contreras went 2-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Both RBI came on a double in that big 3rd inning.
Back on the mound Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field after converting his 21st save the night before, Trevor Megill stranded the automatic runner at second base in the top of 10th inning with a trio of strikeouts.
Having already gotten the better of Paul Skenes in the regular season, Milwaukee Brewers phenom Jacob Misiorowski just one-upped his divisional rival in the All-Star Game annals, as well.
