The teams were preparing for the opening tipoff when attention turned to the courtside seats. Medics worked on the man on the floor as both teams were sent back to the locker rooms with the game delayed.

With both teams on the floor, officials delayed the start of Monday's game between the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies after a medical emergency occurred courtside, and emergency medical personnel rushed to the aid of a man who had fallen ill.

Players and coaches retreated to their locker rooms after a fan reportedly required CPR at courtside just prior to the game's scheduled tip.
