A single-vehicle crash on Route 8 north in Shelton sent two people to the hospital Thursday morning and closed the road, according to Connecticut State Police.

State police said the two Bridgeport men, a 32-year-old driver and 31-year-old passenger, were ejected from the vehicle.

Route 8 North is closed in Shelton after a crash. It is closed between exits 9 and 11 because of a one-vehicle crash, according to CT Roads. No additional information was immediately available.
