Nvidia Corp. is teaming up with Abu Dhabi-based G42 to create a climate technology lab, marking its first partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ top artificial intelligence firm.

United Arab Emirates-based artificial intelligence company G42 has teamed up with U.S. chipmaker Nvidia to work on climate tech, G42 said on Friday, ahead of the first-ever visit to the White House by a president of the UAE next week.

NVIDIA and G42 are joining hands to generate climate solutions through Earth-2 platform, an open system designed to accelerate climate and weather predictions.
