Going out of business sales are expected to begin immediately at Joann Fabric and Craft Stores as the retailer winds down operations and plans to close for good just weeks after kicking off a first wave of closures.

The retailer already had announced stores would close in Capital Region, Hudson Valley as it initially tried to reorganize in bankruptcy court

The crafts and fabrics retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January, the second time in a year, the Associated Press reported.
