James Bartholomew "Bart" Cauthen was deeply beloved by the Coweta County Fire community and in his hometown of Moreland, Georgia.

GEORGIA, USA — A visitation and memorial service will be held over the next two days for a Georgia battalion chief who was killed in Alabama while trying to help a driver who hit a deer.

Bart Cauthen was shot and killed while trying to help a stranded driver.
