Open WhatsApp on your phone. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version. On the home screen, you’ll see the Meta AI icon in the bottom right corner, just above the New Chat button.

After installing the latest WhatsApp update for iOS (version 25.8.74), go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Calling/Messaging and pick WhatsApp from the available options.
