Well, over the weekend, people outside the federal government realized that seemingly anyone can send an email that will presumably reach Musk at this Office of Personnel Management address. On Facebook, Alt National Park Service, a "resistance" page dedicated to protecting the parks, posted this:

Federal employees are raising alarms over Elon Musk’s push to reshape the US government, an effort now compounded by a weekend directive for workers to justify their jobs in writing. The mounting pressure has left many in the federal workforce feeling vulnerable.

Elon Musk is vowing yet again to fire any federal workers who don’t respond to an email asking them to list five things they accomplished last week.
