The Palisades fire is the largest in the area. It started on Tuesday and had burned nearly 24,000 acres by Sunday morning, according to Cal Fire, the state fire agency. In total, four fires had blazed through almost 40,000 acres of Los Angeles County and damaged roughly 12,000 structures, as of Sunday.
