Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins was placed on the Non-Football Injury List with an illness that has lingered over the last month. Initially, the Bengals did not expect Rankins' illness to take so long, but his self-reported symptoms have not gone away, and so, he has not been able to return to the team.
