Protesters are causing widespread traffic disruptions in Cape Town on Thursday morning by using burning tyres to close off sections of the R300 in Mitchells Plain.

Mpumalanga police have called for calm in Masoyi after the community “went on a rampage” to express their anger at the disappearance of a 3-year-old toddler.
