Clippers can't keep pace with Bulls
Los Angeles Clippers starting center Ivica Zubac will be out against the Chicago Bulls after sustaining an eye-injury in their previous game.
The undefeated streak continues for Ivica Zubac, although Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis was on the receiving end of it. A 21-point and 19-rebound double-double had many in awe. Funny enough, the Clippers have a perfect record when Zubac posts at least 20+ points and 15+ rebounds.

Jaylen Brown scored 25 points and Jayson Tatum added 24 as the visiting Boston Celtics pulled out a 117-113 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday at Inglewood, Calif., on a night when key players were missing from both sides.
Amid a grueling stretch of four games in five days, the Clippers chose to sit nearly all of their regulars for the Wednesday matchup with Boston at the Intuit Dome. LA ruled out the following seven players: James Harden (right groin soreness) Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury management) Norman Powell (back soreness) Ivica Zubac (left eye corneal abrasion) Kris Dunn (left knee soreness) Nicolas Batum (right finger soreness) P.
Wednesday’s game between the Celtics and Clippers was highly entertaining. Boston required overtime to win despite having Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Derrick White in the lineup. The Clippers were down four starters (James Harden, Norman Powell, Kawhi Leonard, and Ivica Zubac), but the available players didn’t use that as an excuse.
Boston eventually survived by hitting four 3-pointers in the extra session, with unlikely hero Jaden Springer hitting the last one, with 36.9 seconds left, to send the Celtics to a 117-113 overtime win.
Led by Kevin Porter Jr., Derrick Jones Jr., and Amir Coffey, the Clippers totaled 78 points on 33-of-55 (60%) shooting from the field and 7-of-17 (41.2%) from three three-quarters of the way through the third quarter before Joe Mazzulla and the Celtics turned to one of their role players who had been waiting for an opportunity: Jaden Springer.
Norman Powell scored 27 points, but the Clippers struggled with their shooting and couldn't overcome the absences of Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac in a loss.
Zubac (eye) is out for Wednesday's game versus the Celtics, Joey Linn of SI.com reports. Zubac will miss his second straight contest Wednesday due to a left eye corneal abrasion. Mo Bamba will likely draw another start in his absence. Zubac's next chance to suit up is Thursday's matchup with Washington.
