Green Day have taken a jab at Tesla founder Elon Musk during a recent concert in Johannesburg, South Africa. During their first show of the year, while performing their hit 'American Idiot', frontman Billie Joe Armstrong changed lyrics in the song to take a shot at Musk.

This isn’t the first time Green Day has called out Musk; after their 2023 New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance, where they altered the lyrics of “American Idiot” to say “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda,” Musk criticized the band on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Green Day goes from raging against the machine to milquetoastedly raging for it.”

John Sykes, the British hard rock guitarist best known for his time in Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake, has passed away. Sykes’ social-media pages reported his passing yesterday, saying that Sykes died after a “hard fought battle with cancer.

John Sykes, the guitarist whose talent helped propel Whitesnake to success, is dead at 65. He also worked with the bands Thin Lizzy and Blue Murder.
