A Hillsborough County man’s trip to Publix earned him a $1 million prize from a scratch-off game. The Florida Lottery announced that 67-year-old Roger Shackelford of Valrico claimed a $1 million top prize from the MILLIONAIRE MAKER scratch-off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the Publix Liquors at Lake Nona Creekside in Orlando, beating odds of 1-in-376,992 to win the top prize, according to the lottery’s website. The winning numbers drawn Friday evening were 1-6-27-33-34, results show.
