WASHINGTON, DC — As the Knicks have begun to find their way, winning six straight games and 16 of their last 20 entering Saturday’s game against the Wizards, teams have been left to try to figure out a way to slow down Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Washington Wizards faced the New York Knicks on Saturday night inside Capital One Arena. Despite a terrific effort, the shorthanded Wizards fell short as New York won, 136-132. Jordan Poole (left hip contusion) was ruled out prior to tip-off while Kyle Kuzma (ribs) missed his 11th straight game.

After receiving a warm reception in his first game in Minnesota since October's blockbuster trade to New York, Karl-Anthony Towns scored 30 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in a Knicks rout that included Timberwolves fans booing their own team.
