Connor McDavid is back and the blender is out. Ahead of Monday’s game against the Seattle Kraken, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch made a few changes to his team’s forward lines.

The Edmonton Oilers are sitting atop the Pacific Division standings after defeating the Seattle Kraken 4-2 at Rogers Place on Monday (Jan. 27). Mattias Ekholm, Mattias Janmark, Connor McDavid and Corey Perry scored for Edmonton.

This win for Edmonton — their 32nd in Game 50 on the season — was workmanlike, with goals from Corey Perry and Mattias Janmark and a fine start from backup goalie Calvin Pickard.

Connor McDavid and Corey Perry scored in the second period and the Edmonton Oilers rallied to beat the Seattle Kraken 4-2 for their third straight win.

The Oilers are heading toward the March 7 deadline in a position of strength but will explore avenues to improve.
