According to the report, Butler initially had intentions of joining the Heat later on Wednesday as they get ready for their game in Milwaukee on Thursday.
On Tuesday night, the Miami Heat hosted the Portland Trail Blazers in Florida. The Heat lost by a score of 116-107. Jimmy Butler finished the loss with 13 points, four rebounds and eight assists while shooting 4/9 from the field and 1/1 from the three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.
