Fire crews respond to brush fire in Rancho Bernardo; evacuations lifted
According to San Diego Fire-Rescue, the department received the initial call around 8:55 a.m. The first unit of firefighters arrived shortly after 9 a.m., SDFD said on its website. Forward spread was stopped at four acres around 11 a.m. In an update posted by SDFD at 1:25 p.m., authorities confirmed the fire burned a total of seven acres.
