The evacuation center at the Pasadena Convention Center, established to house Eaton Fire evacuees, is scheduled to close at the end of the week. Nearly 300 people at the shelter still have not found new housing.

Red Cross says no closing date has been set, but a new location is being sought near Altadena. The shelter housed as many as 1,140 people at its peak period during the Eaton fire.
