The Philadelphia 76ers began summer league on Saturday night when they took on the Utah Jazz in the Salt Lake City version. It was the first of three games the Sixers will play in Utah before heading out to Las Vegas on July 10.

Bailey shot just 3-for-13 in his Summer League debut, scoring eight points and grabbing seven rebounds. On the encouraging side of thing, Bailey made multiple strong passes out of double teams. On the downside, he did settle for difficult shots on multiple occasions, something he did at Rutgers, too.

Saturday tipped off NBA summer action as the California Classic and Salt Lake City Summer League both delivered doubleheaders. With a 20-point pairing from the Grizzlies and VJ Edgecombe (No. 3 overall) going head-to-head with Ace Bailey (No. 5), here’s a sampling of the top individual performers:
