Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched a sharp attack against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ahead of the Delhi elections and also took repeated jibes at Rahul Gandhi in his reply to the motion of thanks to the President's Address as he emphasised that the BJP-led government believes in ensuring resources are spent towards public welfare.

In a heated Lok Sabha session, PM Modi criticised Arvind Kejriwal's extravagant lifestyle, referencing ‘jacuzzis’ and ‘sheesh mahal’ amid the campaign for Delhi Elections 2025. Modi emphasized the BJP's focus on practical issues like providing water to every household over luxury living.

The BJP has been using the term 'sheesh Mahal', a colloquial Hindi term for an opulent house, to allege a big scam in the reconstruction of Kejriwal's official bungalow.
