Lando Norris survived an incident-packed race in the rain to win Formula 1’s British Grand Prix on Sunday and cut the gap to his teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri.

Lando Norris cut the gap to McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri for the F1 title to just eight points after taking advantage of the Australian’s 10-second time penalty to win the British Grand Prix for the first time.

McLaren driver Lando Norris won his home race at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday after starting in third behind teammate Oscar Piastri and Red Bull's Max Verstappen. (Piastri finished in second, while Verstappen finished in fifth.)
