Zotac's RTX 5090 Extreme Infinity graphics card is the first to be spotted sporting an official 600W TGP rating, up from the default 575W.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series is fresh off its unveiling at CES 2025, and we're starting to see some exciting models. None are more exciting than the flagship GeForce RTX 5090, which packs a wallop and 32GB of VRAM.

Nvidia says the RTX 5090 is “2X Faster Than The GeForce RTX 4090;” the RTX 5080 is “Twice As Fast As The GeForce RTX 4080;” the RTX 5070 is “2X Faster Than The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti;” and the RTX 5070 is as fast as the RTX 4090.

Not only does the VRAM jump up from 24GB to 32GB in the RTX 5090, but it gets a lot faster too with GDDR7 memory. You’re getting both more of it and a faster speed at 32 Gbps.

Nvidia has made the GeForce RTX 5090 official during its CES 2025 keynote, and the next-gen graphics card will arrive on January 30 for $1,999. Naturally, it'll also be joined by sibling models like the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070, and while the latter would suit my personal budget, I know you're all waiting to hear more about the new GPU monarch.
