His other actions addressed DEI hiring more broadly, froze hiring in most executive agencies and directed a return to in-person work for many federal employees, among other directives.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday ending diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in the federal government. Federal agencies and departments have 60 days from the signing of the order to end DEI-related practices.
