Steward Berroa, who was designated for assignment on Thursday, was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in the middle of their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers are sending outfielder Steward Berroa to the Brewers for cash considerations, L.A. announced. Berroa was available after the Dodgers designated him for assignment. They had just recently added Berroa after the Blue Jays DFA'd him.

The Brewers are facing a third consecutive high-profile opposing pitcher, in the wake of defeating Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Clayton Kershaw. Tyler Glasnow, however, hasn't pitched since the end of May after experiencing shoulder inflammation.
