The Duke freshman is reaching the upper echelon of one-and-done prospects over the last 25 years in men’s college basketball.

Cooper Flagg scored 23 of his 28 points in the second half as No. 2 Duke rallied past North Carolina State to win 74-64 on Monday night in Durham, N.C.

Flag scored 23 of his game-high 28 points in the second half to power the Blue Devils past the Wolfpack 74-64 to improve to 18-2 and 10-0 in ACC play. Duke outscored NC State by 14 in the second half thanks largely to the play of Flagg and fellow freshman phenom Kon Knueppel, who added 19 points of his own.

While Cooper Flagg grabbed attention with a huge stat line vs NC State, the Duke basketball star revealed what drove him to have a dominant second half. He told ESPN about his interaction with head coach Jon Scheyer during a timeout.
