Interest in her escape from Hoo Zoo in Telford has come from as far away as America, staff say.

A British zoo announced it has temporarily halted the search for its escaped capybara to avoid stressing out the animal, who was said to be "extremely comfortable and happy" on the loose.

An adventurous capybara has evaded capture after escaping from a zoo in the United Kingdom. The one-year-old capybara named Cinnamon broke out of her pen on Saturday. She was briefly located using a thermal imaging drone but disappeared before she could be captured.
