Through the “Dream Makers” program, Celebrity Cruise guests will get to sample and vote on new experiences for the upcoming Celebrity Xcel.

In a new first, Celebrity will allow travelers to vote on design and feature elements for the Celebrity Xcel, debuting this November.

A sixth Edge class ship is to join the Celebrity Cruises fleet in 2028. Parent company Royal Caribbean Group signed an agreement with French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique to order the sister ship to Celebrity Xcel, which is due to enter service later this year.

Many people thought that Royal Caribbean would end the Oasis-class with Utopia of the Seas, but the cruise company has ordered another ship in the popular class. The same was thought about the upcoming Celebrity Xcel being the final member of the cruise line's Edge class.
