At least 20 people were killed in Bangladesh after an air force training jet crashed into the Milestone School and College in Dhaka, the capital of the South Asia nation. A leading Cardinal says he is “deeply saddened” by the tragedy.

According to the military and a fire official, the Chinese-made F-7 BGI aircraft crashed into the campus of Milestone School and College, in the Uttara neighborhood, in the afternoon as students were attending classes.

The Army's public relations office confirmed in a brief statement that the downed F-7 BGI aircraft belonged to the Air Force.
